Ta Gia Bao
Welcome to my portfolio,
Nice to meet you! This space brings together my interests, experiences, and growth. I hope you enjoy getting to know me here :)

Born and raised in Hanoi, Vietnam, I—Ta Gia Bao—grew up in an environment that sparked my lifelong passions for sustainable innovation, finance, art, and sports.

Art came naturally too—I fell in love with watercolor painting, especially capturing Hanoi's timeless architecture: narrow tube houses, mossy roofs of the Old Quarter, and bustling ancient streets. I'd spend hours sketching scenes from my daily walks to school.
Learning to Observe Through Drawing
That curiosity became the foundation for everything that followed.
At the same time, sports and art were my outlets for energy and creativity. I started playing soccer around age 5 or 6, running around neighborhood fields with friends and dreaming of captaining a winning team.
Finding Discipline Through Sports
“I have no special talent. I am only passionately curious.”
— Albert Einstein
These early experiences made me aware of real business dynamics—like how fluctuating material prices impact project profits or how smart resource decisions keep everything on track. I'd constantly ask my dad questions like “Why did steel prices go up?” or “How do we make a project more profitable?”
Early Steps into Business
“The best way to predict the future is to create it.”
— Peter Drucker
My parents both work in the concrete and construction industry, running a family company that supplies materials for major projects across Vietnam. From a young age, I often tagged along to construction sites: watching towering cranes, trucks loaded with cement, and seeing how ideas on paper turned into solid structures.
An Early Interest in Sustainable Building
“Passion is energy.
Feel the power that comes from focusing on what excites you.”
(Oprah Winfrey)
This blend of family influence, athletic drive, artistic expression, and early entrepreneurial thinking shaped who I am today.
Now a Grade 11 student at Admiral Farragut Academy in Florida, USA, I continue pursuing these interests through published research on green construction, founding startups like FinLearn App, running my art studio Bao.TryStudio, leading sports teams to championships, and driving social impact projects that have raised tens of thousands of dollars for sustainable housing.
By grade 9, I began wondering how to turn these passions into something meaningful—selling my paintings, organizing paid soccer tournaments, or applying family business knowledge to small ideas.
